One Hebrew word for face, followed from the first page of the Bible to the last, until it becomes the whole story.
Between the first page and the last the face hides, shines,
bleeds and comes home. It is a love story, the oldest one still running, and
before it is over you will find your own face in it.

Song of Songs 2:14
There is one Hebrew word for face. It is on nearly
every page of the Bible, and almost nobody sees it.
I followed it from the first page to the last. It changed what
I thought the book was about, and it changed what I thought God had been asking me
for the whole time.
I wrote it, and that is me reading it: ten
chapters, start to finish. Read along, or close your eyes and just listen. It keeps
your place either way.

Thank you for giving it your evening. If any of it landed, the
only thing I would ask is that you send it to one person you thought of while you were
listening.

One Promise: Abraham and the Living God is a separate book, read the same
way: narrated end to end, free, read along or just listen. It is not a sequel and it does
not need this one first: different man, different mountain, the same God keeping a
promise nobody could keep for Him.
